Baptism/Christening

Many parents look forward to the day when they can celebrate the birth of their children with their family and friends.

We are delighted to offer you this wonderful opportunity to enable your child to become a friend of Jesus within the family of the Church.

Once you have made contact, Fr John will arrange to visit you at home to discuss what this sacrament is all about. A date can then be agreed and you will be invited to help prepare the Sunday Baptism Mass so that we can use your favourite hymns and readings to focus on the way God shares with us his unconditional love.

Adults who would like to be baptised will be invited to take part in the Enquirers programme that leads to Confirmation. This can be done in a number of different ways. See Learning: Enquirers Course and Confirmation
