Worship and Children
Any Church that takes children seriously has to be willing to allow its young people to be themselves. They have interests and needs which are just as important to them as are the customs and traditions of the rest of the congregation and they often have energy and insights which challenge our regular ways of worshipping.
Learning to enjoy having lively young people in Church is one of the priorities for us at St James’. At the annual Youth Mass in July and in the monthly All Age Mass we look forward to harnessing their creativity and their way of exploring the wonderful things that God is doing in their lives.
