Each Church works like a large family, relying on the good will and the voluntary efforts of those who come. Their efforts not only enable us to be a welcoming venue open to the whole community, they also help us to maintain the Church as a haven of peace and tranquillity at the heart of our busy parish.
St James’ has a tradition of encouraging as many people to take part in our Sunday worship as possible – as welcomers, readers, interceders and eucharistic ministers, as flower arrangers and coffee/tea makers. We hope that everyone will be involve in at least one area of the Church’s life and will also consider supporting us financially too.
